AVIS Reservations
Walk or ski the 30 miles of trails, boardwalks, and bridges that are open to the public on over 1100 acres of AVIS reservations in Andover.

Rules and Regulations for Use of AVIS Land
Public access
All people are welcome on AVIS owned or managed land for the quiet enjoyment of nature from sunrise to sunset.
Dogs
AVIS follows the town´s leash bylaw — All dogs must be on a leash at all times on AVIS land.
Prohibited Items/Uses
Any activity or item which diminishes or harms the natural resources or tranquility of the reservation, including:
- Bow hunting with this exception
- Weapons of any type including bows and arrows
- Motorized vehicles
- Bicycling
- Access from Routes 93, 495, and 125
- Fires
- Camping
- Alcohol
- Paintball and Airsoft
- Tree cutting
- Plant collecting
- Littering
- Dumping of any kind, including leaves, grass clippings, and brush
Uses requiring permission
The following activities require permission. To obtain permission, please contact the warden of the particular reservation.
